Sunset

A sunset is quite intoxicating, something holds us till the last drop of lustre has left the sky. The end of a day, a reflection or a sense of beauty in contrast to the chaos. Time to let go of the cares, allow them to dissolve with the fading light; tomorrow will have enough cares of its own.

You have described the feeling of basking in the sunset beautifully. Wonderful pictures too.

Another person who has a far enough view to see the sunset!

Beautiful pictures - what is that industrial-looking complex in the background?

Thank you Dennis, Dana and Gilly. The second shot is how I would see the skyline, the first is with zoom.
The industrial site is Redcar Steel mill; once Dorman Long, British Steel, Corus. Potential loss of 3,000 jobs in the near future due to companies pulling out of their commitment 4-years early.

So true. So very very true.

Thanks for the reminder!

These are lovely. Just stunning.

Ann, thanks for stopping by. Weather in the North east of England often hides such beauty from us - but I am sure that helps us value it more.
